Daniel Boone and his family are closely tied to the town’s history. First settling a few miles from Marthasville, Boone and his wife officially moved to the city in their 60’s. Boone’s remains were interred in the town for a time. The city has been called, “the last home of Daniel Boone.”

Marthasville is only 10 minutes from Washington, Missouri, 22 miles from the Spirit of St. Louis Airport, and 48 miles from Lambert International Airport. The average commute to work is roughly 20 minutes.

In this neighborhood, everyone becomes a wine connoisseur. Located on the famous Missouri Weinstrasse, or “Wine Road,” Marthasville residents have easy access to many vineyards and wineries.

Just south of St. Louis, residents can easily see the Cardinals play at home, go east for a thrill ride at Six Flags, or head west to explore Meramec Caverns.

Marthasville is part of the Washington Public School District. Within the community are a number of private and religious schools.
